Right before Kerwin says "Do your job," it sounds like he says, "I am doing mine." I think the exchange went something like:

(not heard) Renteria: Do your job.

(not sure) Danley: I am doing mine. (heard) Do your job.

(heard) Renteria: I am doing my job!

I'm guessing it's the original "Do your job." comment -- it just took him a couple seconds to realize he should have ejected him for it. :shrug:

Announcer must not have a very good memory. I remember Drake dumping the Cubs first base coach on a call a first (kind of close). Lou came out for a piece and got dumped too.

Although it's different up there... there are still lines. Black probably knew it was crossed and if he stood up for it he was probably going too.
