11-12 game, bottom second, bases loaded, no outs. The baseball gods must have been flipping through the test manual. Here's how it went:

ball

ball

bunt attempt, hit the plate, bounced over F2's arm, missed F2's second attempt to grab, rolled and stopped in foul ground

dead ball foul - off the foot in the box

foul ball, 3B side

ball

foul ball over the backstop.

defensive conference

dead ball foul - batted ball hits orange safety bag at 1B

offensive conference

dead ball foul - batted ball hits player in foul territory

long foul ball

another defensive conference

hit - infield fly.

The AB was almost 15 minutes. After the game, though, the varsity coach who's son plays on one of the teams that was sitting in the stands pulled me over after the game and complemented me on my rules knowledge and the professionalism that I showed. Which is good - I think.
