I have the locker room and love it!!!! I just have a hard time getting it closed!!!!

Practice with one of those mesh hampers. It's a miniature version of the same design, and it really does orient you to the folding and twisting motion that you need with the OLR.

I also recommend using one of those hampers. I throw everything washable in it as I remove it after the game. I take it straight to the washing machine and dump everything. I leave it on the dryer and later put the washed and dried stuff right back into it and take it back to the closet or equipment bag. Then I fold it up and put it in the bag as well. It's the greatest eight bucks I ever spent, and it keeps me sharp for when it's time to fold up my Official's Locker Room. And by never mixing my umpire stuff with the rest of the laundry, I haven't lost as much as a sock this way. It's like when I was living alone!

I am confused. I am supposed to practice changing in this thing? Or are you saying I can use this instead of the Official's Locker Room?

Seems a little silly but I will try it out this Saturday.

As an Angels fan, I have to say Santa came through BIG TIME this year! Not only did they get the best player in baseball, they also signed a very good pitcher and took him away from their division rival in the process. I was happy to hear they signed Wilson for less than what they paid Weaver too. With Pujols (37 HR), Trumbo (29), Wells (25), Morales (34 in 2009), Hunter (23) and Kendrick (18), you have some serious power in the lineup. Add Chris Ianetta who batted .238 and had 14 HRs and that's a major upgrade at the catching position too. Look out Rangers!

Chris, am I reading correctly that the Official's Locker room is your invention? If so, you should think about marketing it to surfers. I drive past these guys all the time on PCH changing out of their wetsuits and shorts with towels around their waist.

My son woke up yesterday, and I said, "The Angels signed C.J. Wilson."

"Cool," he said with a thumbs up.

"Oh, and they got Albert for ten years," I added.

"The Angels got PUJOLS?!? Tell me you're buIISH*#ting!"

It's a diet called Ideal Protein. It was developed in the 80s for the French Olympic team and has worked it's way into North America. I've tried everything and this sucker is awesome that's how I lost 101.2lbs. in 16 weeks. No sugar, low carbs, high protein, tons of vitamins and lots of cardio. Local cardiologists are recommending it in my area. It's brutal the first couple of weeks but you get used to it. At the end, right sized portions and healthy foods. I now weigh what I did at age 15 and I'm 49. I can't wait to umpire without a 100lb. backpack on this spring. Happy Holidays all!

Let me just say this with as much subtlety as I can muster: CONGRATULATIONS!

That is just magnificent. Enjoy your new life! It's well worth all of the effort and devotion of the turnaround. Wait until you get a load of how fun it is to run.

Still waiting for the ump-attire poly-wools to come out, I have $40 in manuals sitting in my UA cart right now, but I want to save on shipping so I'm going to order them when those plate pants come out. Anybody know about release date? I'm hearing that it might be before January...
