Dumbdumb.... where are ya man ???

Have the CS assignments been announced yet ??

Just wondrin' :question1:

The umpires know who they are as of last Saturday of the regular season, but MLB will probably not announce till tomorrow at the earliest after the AL has been decided.

In previous years 3 or 4 of the guys who worked the WS the year before, came back to work the LCS the next year. There is usually a new guy who has not worked one before in the mix also.

I have a feeling we won't have this announcement until after tomorrow night's games (at least the AZ-MIL game). I would think MLB is grooming Jim Wolf for an eventual World Series, so they are giving him a LCS assignment. I think MLB is waiting to see if his brother will be in the NLCS before finalizing the crews.

Here's my prediction: Hernandez and West join again in the WS. West retires at the end of the year.

I may very well be wrong, but, I don't believe that Rapuano is eligible since he was not selected for the Division series.

News: MLB Announces League Championship Series Umpires

Thank you. Can you please post the types of masks, chest protectors, and plate shoes each will be wearing during the Championship Series. Personal cell phone numbers would be very helpful too.

If you're unable to post the information I'm requesting, don't worry, I'm sure somebody will be along soon to post it for you.

Tim.

PS - Sarcasm not directed at Gil.

The pens, Tim! The pens! What type of pens???

I'm more worried about the cups they use.

I saw a "Nutty-Buddy" on ebay that was an "original game worn" cup that was worn by Joe West. The bids went up to $500.00 before it came out that the cup wan't really a "Nutty-Buddy" that had been worn by Joe West. Turns out it was a "Bike" cup with old "Nutty-Buddy" pads that Joe threw into the trash. Now, the bid is up to $600.00

Go figure.............

Tim.
