I love the nutty buddy...a friend of mine played for the inventor when he was in the Brewers organization and was there when they shot the video. I ordered the cup the day after he showed me the video, and it's the only one I've worn since. Unbelievably comfortable and can take some shots. If you don't have one, get it. :BD:

You didn't get the Mongo??? :HS

First off, the mongo would have to feel like a 3 bedroom apt. compared to what I am wearing right now!!!! This will be next years' purchase.

Brewers organization :BD:

Second off, we should all be clapping for the Crew... GO BREWERS!!!

If it is that little, why would you need one. :HS

Wait till you take a shot and you will feel the difference. :BD:

Is the nutty buddy just an improved cup? What's so special about it?

There is a video demonstrating the proper use and wear. Would you like the link? :beerbang

I like to run and I couldn't run in it comfortably. The way the sides protrude make it uncomfortable.

But trying it did get me to switch to wearing a jock rather than placing the cup in a floating cup pocket in my tights; and it did get me to go with a steel cup when I work the plate.

So trying and rejecting the Nutty Buddy wasn't all bad.

What he said....have it in my bag and pull out the Shock Dr. every time! I would sent it back but I don't think they would accept it :rollinglaugh:

My sending it back was one of the more hilarious consumer product transactions of my life. I think my opening line in my email went something like, "I've never imagined trying and returning a protective cup, but I've also never imagined paying $28 for a protective cup."

So, I guess you should beware of buying a NuttyBuddy that's "reconditioned," or "refurbished."

I experience no problems with mine.

In fact I have found it so comfortable that I have forgotten I am wearing it and failed to take it out before driving home.

This is one of those pieces of equipment that seems to always fall into the category of "Different  for different folks."
