Was looking through some old youtube stuff and found this. If a player pulls a stunt like this, (faking getting hit), do you eject for unsportsmanlike conduct?

I know the umpire who tossed in this play. His name is Nelson "Onion" Graham from Louisiana. I met him at a clinic in Nashville a few years back. We discussed this play with him over "big boy pops" in the evening. He said he never was fooled and doesn't know why the guy went off so crazy-like in the situation. Great guy and great video.

I saw Walker playing in AA a couple of years ago for the Arkansas Travelers.

Imagine what life is like for this kid today. I am sure every place he works or applies to work sees this video at some point. I would NEVER hire this person. Not for faking the HBP, but for carrying on and making it worse. . . and worse.

He has to live with this for the rest of his life. That's one hell of a life lesson.

The fact that the team lost the starting catcher and almost lost its head coach for the day on a solid non-call makes this guy some type of a teammate. I can understand trying to get a call but not getting ej'ed becasue of it. Themn to bring the HC along with you is worse.

OMG, isn't that the truth. I saw one the other day on a highlighted replay. The girl faked an injury to delay the game. They carried her off on a stretcher until she got near the sidelines. She then jumped off the stretcher and ran down the tunnel. They even have a name for it, diving. I have no respect for soccer.

That Ole Miss pitcher was nicer to him than I would have been. Putting on my player hat, I would thrown the next pitch right down the middle...of the batter's box directly into his ribs!

I'll second the motion about not having any respect for soccer. I was in a bar one night after a ballgame and got into a discussion with the guy next to me, a former college soccer play, about why soccer players act like they do. He informed that they do it because soccer is such a low scoring game with few scoring opportunities that players will embelish and, in most cases, fake an injury or a foul to gain a competitive edge. I told him that any game where the players have to do that to win, or to score for that matter, is a horsesh*t game with players that have no pride or self-respect. Well, that ended our conversation which was a good thing because I really dislike soccer.

I on the other hand really enjoy soccer. I will agree that flopping is BS and if they would start yellow carding it would stop. Making a trip look worse than it is is one thing, diving when never touched is crap.
