Now that we have seen everyone play and got a taste of what they are bringing to the table, anyone care to make a world series prediction.

I'm a Phillies fan and hope to get a " re-phill " of last year but by not winning yesterday, they may be in a little trouble. The Rockies are very good at home ( 51 wins ). I think they will probably prevail but it will take them five.

The Cardinals are in real trouble by blowing the game yesterday and I don't think they will be able to overcome it.

The Yanks are awesome and I don't think the Twinkies have anything for them.

I have not seen the Angels much this season but I hear they are very good.

My prediction is Phillies beat Dodgers and Yanks beat Angels in a classic series. Yanks win it all, althoiugh I hope I'm wrong on that one.

Angels over Sox

Angels have been very good all year and the Sox just have too many holes this year

yanks over Twinkies

I love the Twins but the yanks just have too much fire power

Dodgers over Cards

Cards won't beat LA 3 straight

Phils over Rocks

I've seen the Phils win too much the last 3 yrs to pick against them (I am a big Met fan)

Angels over yanks

I just love rooting against the yanks

Phils over Dodgers

The phils remind me of the mid 70's Reds- good to great players at every position

I read that temps. for game three between the Phillies and Rockies are supposed to be below freezing at game time, with a chance of snow.

The Yahoo weather page says this:

Tonight: A few snow showers around this evening, otherwise mostly cloudy. Low 29F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 30%

I hope it doesn't snow. I am interested to see how Pedro pitches in 29 degree weather.

Yankees lose in the second round no matter who it is. THe National League, who knows, it's the National League. It's like who wins the AFC title, who knows and who cares. You just need to know for the final series.

I'd like to add at this time that I think Torre will somehow cost the Dodgers a game in the LCS.
