who in there right mind would drop that much on a mask? A beginner should be able to outfit themselves for less than that.. If i drop that much it better have a cooling mechanism that drops my core body temp, has a lifetime warantee, and helps me call balls and strikes :shakehead:

Even as big of a gear junkie as me wont be dropping that kind of coin on that mask.........but I would like it.....but my question is what is NIke waiting on?.....they have kept it quite exclusive for a while now......dont they think there is a market for it? Hasnt Wilson proven that there is a market for high end umpire gear?.....

If you are interested in this type of thing. I justr noticed that UmpAttire is closing out all of the All-Star FM-25TI masks for $159.99. I got mine earlier this spring and I absolutely love it. The biggest difference is the FM25-TI is a double bar. It weighs in at about 19 oz. and the mask is seemingly industructable.

I'm hoping my younger brother, who is a catcher, goes somewhere with baseball. He's had a few schools invite him down for workouts, and he's not even a senior in HS yet, but I think those are more cashgrabs under the guise of a try out then anything. Anyway, reason being: I want one of these masks but don't want to pay my arm, leg, and first born for one! :P
