  1. That is what I was thinking. I have not worn nikes in years...A brooks guy. Not sure what people recommend. Thanks for the input.
  2. Looking for some feedback. Maybe from guys that work a lot of travel ball on turf fields. I am going to an umpire clinic in Oklahoma this summer where we will work on turf. Any recommendations on some base shoes with a little ventilation. They don't need to be baseball specific, just comfortable and look decent. I have NB 950V2 that I love, but they are hot since they are leather on the top of the foot. Looking for something with a little mesh to help cool my feet down. Thanks.
  3. People will need to know the length.
  4. I do this as well. Never an issue.
  5. No problem. I will probably post them for sale on the site tomorrow. Happy hunting. If this was 12 months ago I could have helped you out. I unloaded all my random colors.
  6. I have three XXL Smitty shirts that I am willing to sell. They are old MLB style with the thin pipping on the side. 2 Black 1 Blue. Worn 1-3 times each. I lost weight and had to size down.
  7. Worked with a guy that had them last weekend. I really like them, but they are so dark. Nowhere near the color of the old (good) polywools. My college group won't allow them yet. They seem the closest in color to the GD charcoal pants.
  8. Force 3. Love them. Year 3 no rust.
  9. Buy a bunch...the new ones don't hold up. Break very easily...unless he has updated it in the past two years. The plastic comes apart where it is connected near the brush part. I still have an old grey one that I use. Broke several of the new ones after one or two games. He sent me several for free back when he was letting guys test gear for free to get his name back out there.
  10. You really like it? Tell me a bit about why. I joined ABUA this year, so I can get it for I think $109.
  11. I keep at least one extra of everything. I am always finding new to me things and selling stuff that has not been used in a while. I have some stuff I should probably unload.
  12. Thanks for answering for me He powder coated a Honig's frame for me instead and sent it my way. I was not a fan of that frame so I sold it, but I don't fault Tony at all. He has powdercoated several other masks for me and I have been happy with all of his work. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have work done. I have a Mizuno TI that I got from Japan that is black that I might be sending in this off season. Currently I am intrigued with the F3 version 2. I used to be a bucket guy... ALL-Star 4000, but I have not worn it one time this season. Might have to give it a whirl this weekend.
  13. It does blow up. I don't think I have the picture anymore, but Tony sent me the pic of my Champro Mag that exploded in the oven. It was a sad day. I like that mask....it was going to look sweet. On to bigger and better things.
  14. I have had 1 JUCO, 4 NAIA, and 1 D2 game so far. Starting temperatures have ranged from in the mid 30s to the low 80s. In the span of 10 Days in Texas and Southern Arkansas...and of course I had the plate in hottest game...and we decided to play extras.
  15. So based on that rule we are saying "A" is the correct choice. I agree if that is the case.
  16. I heard you cannot buy them separate from a mask. I tried a couple of years ago and they don't sell them separately.
  17. Maybe I should sell mine. Seems like the interest is picking back up and I don't ever wear it.
  18. I am a minister. Makes Sunday and Wednesday games tough, but I am able to work a pretty full schedule.
  19. Hit @Razzer up he makes/sells them. They are now larger. Also available at Ump-Attire.
  20. I heard a rumor that Hudson51...the official supply company that Marvin Hudson is affiliated with is planning to make their own shirts and own pants that are supposed to be made by the same manufacturer as MLB. Don't know if it will actually happen or not.
  21. would love it if someone from @Honigs_ws would chime in so we could know what changed and why. Is it a new manufacturer...still the same pants they wear in the MLB?
  22. Is it just me or do the pants seem to be different this year? I personally have not purchased any as I am still using some Ump-Attire PolyWools that I bought several years back when they closed them out (bought several pairs at a great price). The new pants appear to have a slight pattern to the print and seem to be thinner. Just wondering if anyone knows about any changes that have taken place. Maybe a new manufacturer? Any insight would be appreciated because I will be in the market for new ones soon.
  23. @Matt HoeyI have a sale pending on the shoes. If it falls through I will get back with you. Should know by later today.
