I have the smaller shoulder protection as above on my Douglas and prefer it to the larger gap protection. Jeff at Douglas swapped mine out. I also had my retrofitted by Team Wendy. While I have not worn it often since the retro, my biggest complaint about the TW on a Douglas is that it made the neck opening smaller. I plan to strap it on this weekend again and will give another review. I am a fan of TW though. My Gold that has been retrofitted by TW is my all time favorite protector.

It looked like he was making a reach for the ball IMO, but it is a tough one.

At a clinic recently we were told to have them take off the glove and look at the hand if we were not sure. The only caution given was to do it fairly quickly because a smart batter might press the top of his had with the other thumb to make it appear as if it hit him when in fact it did not.

I am. This will be my second year with a schedule of games from TPU. The calls are not bad. Some of it is very basic, while other parts of the calls are extremely helpful. The basic part baffles me, but some guys must not take care of their business so stuff gets brought up. I like the organization. The clinics are great. TPU does some things differently than other orgs, but they have success. Two guys went to Cary for the D2 WS last year. One guy going this year.

Mine likes attendance, but not all can go. I went to a couple of his clinics this year and we have to participate in a weekly conference call starting around Thanksgiving till the end of the season. I hope to attend one next season.

Yeah, I bought the videos a couple of years ago when the meeting was in Dallas. I only call up to DII so I don't have to go to the meeting. I try to go when it is close. Would just love to see them, but I can wait a couple more weeks. I have head the gist...just wanted to see for myself.

I know they always release them on the Arbiter Central Hub after the last meeting occurs, but they sometimes pop-up elsewhere on-line before then. Heard they showed some good stuff in Nashville last weekend.
