There's your problem right there, you explained it yourself. LEFT CLICK on the quote button and I assure you it shall work.

I'll take your word for it. "When I lock in the slot, yeah, this what I see-all the coaches stop and they're staring at me..." -Dave at some point, probably.

You suck. I'm happy for you, but you still suck. If it makes you feel any better, I took a 58 foot fastball to the left inner thigh on the first batter. Dude, I think that's outside regulations.

I won't even be passive agressive about rejecting your advice, bruh. I'm sorry. He's a garbage umpire and a garbage person.

HAR HAR HAR. It's March-August. Flooded fields and hail is the only thing that stops us.

He's in a position of authority because we have nine umpires in this entire town. I absolutely despise his teaching methods and based on his performance he shouldn't be allowed on the field. You know how to pronounce his name? smeet-tee.

My weight's not dropping, really, but my bf% is. Setting bench press PR's nearly every week. Slowly becoming paleo. Running a half marathon in October. That happens when you have a salt flush and all the water comes out of your system. Don't worry about it unless it becomes a daily occurrence.

It's not about the capability of a person, it's how they come across to others, ...perception, etc. (And PLEASE, do NOT say anything to me about "slamming" people w/ tattoos, I'm not. I don't feel this way, but I believe others do. I'm simply saying that I believe if there's an issue with umpires or anyone else w/ tattoos, the perception issue comes up. Look at it like this .... much like perception would be viewed if someone showed up with an untucked shirt, dirty shoes, and wrinkled clothes. This would make people think that means he/she is a bad umpire. However, not as much anymore as 'ink' is more and more accepted.) I could be wrong, but that's my .02Well see that's what I mean. Tattoos get a bad rep and it's stupid. If an umpire was showing up on time in a clean uniform, I don't think I'd even really notice. Now that I think of it, the umpires in Juneau that don't have tattoos are the not so great ones. Coaches with tattoos are not in such a predicament. Frankly it's judgmental to ban visible tattoos on anybody. I mean obviously if you have a tattoo of something particularly lewd or gruesome you should cover it up because you're around kids but things like memorials, family members names, tribals, etc aren't harmful. Just my thoughts. Welcome to the world as it is. People are judgmental. Until we reach Utopia, and the human condition has evolved to the perfect mindset, people will be judged based on appearances or opinions or other stupid things. What Star Trek never shows is how the Earth went from the '60s to the Federation society. The Federation wasn't a Utopia. The Bajorans were still opressed by the Cardassians and there's an entire episode about judging people based on which side of their body was which color. The Romulans opressed and judged the Remuns. The EMH was judged, the Maquis were judged. Everybody judged Sela, Romulans and Starfleeters. Odo and Quark were judged. O'Brien judged Bashir and he also judged the Cardassians. Picard judged Q. Everybody judged Barclay and Riker and Geordi judged Cochrane. A lot of people judged Worf on the Enterprise and on DS9. Trills were judged. Adorians were judged. Vulcans were judged. Trelane was judged. There was still a lot of judging. That's the beauty of Star Trek-they didn't have the perfect mindset but they still made those great technological leaps. It's less perfect mindset and more evolving to completely work past that intial judgement. Which to be perfectly honest most humans NOW could do if they tried a little.

tapatalk pulls pics from your phone only, I believeI know but when I try to upload says file is too big no matter what size I try That's because it reads the original size of the photo, not the resized size because on iPhones it just "hides" the cropped portion so to speak...try lowering the quality of the photos in your settings.

I don't see why tattoos are seen as a bad thing in any profession. Seriously. Like, as I'm sure every one of you guys who actually have them can tell anybody, it takes a lot of work to keep them cared for right after you get them-same with piercings. If some dude can take care of a permanent picture that was literally forced into his skin using a needle, I'm pretty sure he can take care of a ball game. Piercings, self mutilation, tattoos, it doesn't matter to me. I would be much more comfortable calling a game with a totally tatted up guy who passed his rulings test than a guy who was ink-free and didn't. Maybe that's just me being a GenZ but it's the truth.

I eat all that stuff at dinner, but snacks, lunch and breakfast are where I eat carrots and broccoli alone. I would flip it-eat all the other stuff in the morning...that way you use it throughout the day instead of just letting it process and then just build up in your body while you sleep. Not alot of choice in that, I'm not the one who cooks dinner. Then explain what you're doing to your parents and they might let you off...my parents were PISSED when my brother went vegetarian but they still let him make his own dinner. If not, well, life is such and such is life. Like I said-just be careful with it all because if not executed right it could go sour quickly or leave you with nasty repercussions down the road. What kind of repercussions? A lot of things, mostly from mineral deficiency. Osteoporosis if you aren't getting enough calcium and kidney stones if you're getting too much, premature hair loss, in extreme cases (like anorexia-grade deficiencies) lips and fingernails turning blue, delayed blood clotting, reduced eyesight, acne, bile deficiencies, pancreas malfunctions like higher resistance to insulin, high blood pressure, dangerously low blood pressure, soft tissue decay, severely imbalanced hormones, protein decays, insomnia, congestive heart failure, thyroid malfunction, etc, etc...I'm taking a human biology class and these are some of the things we learned can happen, but in most cases do not happen. Don't expect it. If you aren't developing a full blown eating disorder while you only allow yourself broccoli and carrots, always, then you should be for the most part okay.

If it's working, okay, but that sounds really dangerous to maintain for that long, bruh, Carrots and broccoli is nice and all but it doesn't have protein. Or very many carbohydrates (YES, you need them.) And you need calcium. Just be careful. I've gone paleo at least until the wresting season starts...I sure do miss pasta.

My job doesn't start until the cruise ships start coming in and it's retail with tourists, meaning I deserve a lot more than minimum wage but that's what I get AND I already have a massive wishlist from tacticalgeartrade that I'm trying to chip away at. Might be an end of season thing, like a reward for if I don't assault any coaches. ALSO I have to get one of my parents to agree to put in their credit card info and my parents do not appreciate the philosophy of "He who dies with the most gear wins"

I've seen Matt's tattoos and they're the best looking thing about him. That's because we still have that pesky "mandatory pants" rule."DAYYYYUUUUMMM BOY DAT TIBIA DOE." English, please..... "Danm boy, that tibia though."

I KNOW IT'S SO SAD. I once put in my zip for a shipping quote and it said "NO." I'm waiting until this summer when I'm down south for a month and I'm gonna have it sent there.

I hated the platinum. I really don't like bigger name gear for some reason and NO, I'm not a hipster. My Smittyesque Champion is just fine even though it gives me the shoulders of a six foot man. I would really like to start using Schutt on a regular basis.

BUT THIS GUY WOULD TOTES DESERVE IT.

KKN versus JD varsity game? I'd be carrying anything that would fit in a pocket or ball bag. Sometimes that SH*# just gets scary. Calm down, Sketchikan!

@maven this guy will be handling my time sheet, my ejection reports, my evaluations, my pay, actually I don't think there's anything he won't be in charge of. I know I have to work opening day with him and I think that's it. He's above me in status though so I think a lot of people would consider it out of line for me to be trying to disprove his evals, but usually two umpires evaluate, one that works with the umpire on a regular basis and one that doesn't.
