dump it............there is so much better technology out there today...........and with the addition of TW padding you are missing out on the advantages.....lower weight, better views and better, safer padding..........and it wont break the bank....... Will be getting new everything before next year's season, except shin guards. Although the Honigs Elite I bought last year have been a bit disappointing, not wearing well.

It usually only takes one pitch right down the middle called a ball and they "get it".

I actually got straight lined in a game a couple of weeks ago for the first time in years, was in A and a ball hit to F6. I had gotten my angle and throw pulled F3 right into my line of sight, tried to adjust but it was just one of those plays. I had an out if F3 kept his foot on the bag but I suspected he pulled it a bit as he was reaching for the throw. Cool thing was my partner and I have worked together so many times that I quickly glanced at him and sure enough he gave me a subtle "off the bag" sign and I was able to get it right and the timing looked just fine. As to OP, no way in the world am I going to my partner for help because the 3B coach thinks he saw something. Now if the 1B coach asks correctly I have no problem asking my partner for help, after I have made the original call of course.

I too had a great championship game last Monday night, an if necessary LL majors game, 4 man crew and I am at 3B. Game had zero incidents, zero arguments and I had zero calls at third. Done in an hour and 35 minutes. Now that is my idea of a great championship game. Cheers!

I think that when the shoulder slumping, sighing starts I let him quietly know that the zone is about to become the size of a quarter if he keeps that crap up. And after you got hit I would have certainly told HC that you believe it was intentional. Good ejection.

It is semantics, all those game management skills you describe are used to not have to eject someone.

If you are trying to keep them in the game, then you have insinuated that you will extend whatever criteria it is you use for EJ. No, that isn't what that means at all. Never mind, cheers!

There is no big deal to saying back up a bit, that is the proper thing to do. And what happened on the field that caused this uproar? Did you guys really kick one? I don't care if he called a caught fly ball "SAFE".....There is NO EXCUSE for this type of behavior!!! Of course there is no excuse for that type of behavior, did you really think I was condoning it? Come on. I was just curious as to what set him off.
