I own a couple Zero-g's (silver & charcoal) & I think they are great masks if you do two things to them...get the leather pad option and add a throat guard. I feel like the extension is a little short of a nike, Wilson, or diamond. Someday when I slim down my herd...these two will stay.

Cannot speak for sure...I just know I got a new style version because the color scheme I ordered was out of stock and I had to wait for it to be restored with the new version.

Personally I still really like +Pos. I think they try to provide quality equipment, and meet customer needs. Their new shirts are of really high quality(improved materials and sizing) for $20.00 I think they are a good buy. I would also rate the Zero-G mask, Leather pads, and scrapper brushes really favorably. I would agree communication and timing can be a struggle. I always buy in the offseason so I don't have to worry about immediate need. When given time Dan has never once disappointed me with how he resolved an issue. So given the fact that I like what they provide...I continue to buy.

It came with a mizuno strap...I am guessing that is why it was listed as a mizuno.

True...but any priced at $75? That's why I felt lucky.

I actually got it on eBay Christmas day. Feeling pretty lucky.

Already taken care of...replaced the strap in the profile picture with a new wilson mlb one...so that issue has been addressed.

Update: I bought this mask from the one picture shown above. It arrived today and I am stoked. The frame weighs 12 oz and a magnet does not stick to it. From its shape I believe that it is a Nike. Hoping for confirmation after adding additional pictures. I have updated it with some new materials and I really like it. Oh yeah...and I got it for less than 80 bucks.

Do you have a medium lt blue with navy and white?

LMK your thoughts as to what this mask is?

Personally I feel they are the best. My reasons: 1. Completely one color. 2. It is built with a place to tuck the extra under the top to side straps(Might not be a problem for you give the size of your melon) 3. Harness plastic pieces are built to allow the extra to be rerun back through.

I was looking at this catalog and it got me thinking about a mask I have...and what it is. It is a brand new Wilson Standard Profile with Wrap-Around pads that is not rubber coated(Very thin bars). I do not find it in the catalog and I have no idea what it is, or what it is worth. Any thoughts guys? Thanks.

@Platejob29...I saw and liked your ziptie idea for a sliding harness on your nike. I took your thought and added it to my zero g...thought you might like the idea because it does the same thing and is slightly less noticeable.

To those of you that have purchased these pads...where did you get them from?

I did get this throat guard and initially did not like it. at 6.5in x 4.5in is was just too much...so...here is what it look like on one of my masks now.

Looking for a short sleeve lt. Blue with navy and white trim size medium. Let me know what you got and what u may want for it. Thanks.

I use a modification of the GD that works great for me. I am short 5'7". So here is my uses of it: Locked arm technique, Head on inside corner, Foot of Distance, Head Height top of catchers helmet/mask. Modification: Since I am short I do not have to get real wide to get to the right head height...means I can move out of the stance quick and still get a nice still camera. I think it works best for me, and I would suggest it for all short umpires.

It could be a Champro but I am guessing it could be an old Honigs...I have an old Honigs that looks similar to it and had pads like that too. Hard to completely tell shape but here is a picture of mine with black +pos pads.

From outside the norm on this post, I will add this. 1. I have owned a set of TW pads, but got rid of em because I just didn't like the stubble pull from cloth. I would agree with the comments about manufacturing quality listed above as well. I also felt very protected when wearing them so I can see why so many sing their praises. 2. I am not a huge fan of the Wilson Wrap around pads either...just don't like all the straps, weight etc. I do own a mask or 2 with them though. 3. So where does this leave me, I really like the +Pos Leather pads. I own 4 pairs of em. 2 Black, 1 Dark Tan, 1 Light Tan. I really like their materials, padding, weight and looks. I would look into the Zero G in charcoal(the lighter one will dull) and get it with these leather pads. Here is mine with the dark tan pads.

I am with Jax on this. Compression Tights...NB...NB Jock. I think the NB jock is designed to help keep it in place well with extra thick elastic on the leg straps and stretch jock material for fitting around the NB. Just my thoughts...but I won't mess with something that I think fits and stays well.

First question: Should Fairchild of even been signalling Fair or Foul due to the fact that contact with the ball happen before 1st? Doesn't that make it the HP's call(fair or foul)? 2nd: I didn't see an out call from Fairchild. 3rd: If they did call a double play...at least they got it right.
