Note to self...not ball bags as the BU.

I wish they would say who the manufacturer is on their site. Its a bit annoying to me.

I miss QT so much. I lived in Belton for 10 yrs. I love them Taquitos. I bet they have some good protein.
-
Is this the same as this with these?

Why wouldn't you call the BR out since the INT prevented the fielder from catching the fly ball, assuming that fielder had the play on the ball?

I found this post on "LL metality vs. a business" interesting and have nominated it accordingly for "Post Of The Month March, 2010"

Cripes! I read something on the internet that made me chuckle. Maybe its not awesome. I still think its funny. I do find it funny the 9 defensive players, defensive coaches, and probably a set of bleechers or two full of on lookers didn't see it either. I also find it funny that people get so butt hurt about every little thing they read on the internet. Some of you just need to relax.

What are the legal way to break up a double play?
-
That all actually makes perfect sense to me.

Had another scrimmage last night. I screwed the pooch once when I failed to make an IFF call. I signaled to the BU that that potential was there and all. I just blew it. Other than that, the only issues I seem to be having are indecision/not knowing where to be, and getting better angles. I just need reps. I did have a banger play at first that I seemed to impress some of the vets with. Close call that I got right, and I sold it well. There were more newbies there last night, so I only work 6 outs as BU and 6 as PU. Hope to get more work tonight.

Other than they were able to get way with it, what sad about it. I don't condone cheating, and I certainly don't condone teaching kids to cheat. I think its funny that a coach had the balls to do that. I would have never considered it. The story made me laugh. I'm sorry you think I'm sad.

Its cheating, incredibly ballsy, and totally awesome.

Yes, live scrimmages. My association calls them 'On Diamond Clinics'.

Well, I got my first on field experience this weekend. My organization has set up clinic everyday from this past Friday to next Saturday. The one I went to on Friday I was the only student with 3 instructors. Good for me, right? More than you know. Friday was an absolute train wreck. I found it to be fairly simple, but there weren't any real sticky situations either. Plate work was a different story. It took me forever to call a strike. When I did it was in the dirt. When there was a hit, I had no clue. It was like, "Hey, there's 7 other ball players here. Where did they come from?" One would think how would a guy that's never done this before have a clue. That is logical, but I still felt like a idiot. Saturday was a different story. The main think that came out of my field work with that I need to move to get better angles. I tended to stay in B or C to make all my calls. Behind the plate, I was more confident calling pitches which allowed me to work more on what I need to do after the ball is hit. I could feel the difference in the way I worked by the end of the day. It felt real good. I've got 5 more clinics. I hope the weather doesn't screw me over.

So now my question is, how long do you have to make the call. How long do you have to look at every fielder and judge the type of effort being exerted?
-
So if he trip before you make the call, do you change the call you are going to make?
-
Must see a live arm. I'm a first year guy, and the one thing I'm concerned about is my strike zone...and tracking pitches. Maybe I should be worried about more, but that's the stuff that sticks out to me.

Good thing I don't have a game tonight.:question1:
-
So even if its a poor quality throw, if the runner is out of the lane, you call it, right?
-
The Fed interpretation states exactly how the Fed wants it called. I've read and been told many times that game officials do not get to ignore a rule because they think it smells funny. Why is this one different?
-
Yes. Mark Grace is easily one of my all time Favorite players. Its a damn shame sports writers are ruining the HoF.

Well, then that's what I'm wearing this year. Pray for me.

I hope Gerry Davis will let me exchange the iX3 they sold me.
