Nutty Buddy

Gentleman, I have the Under Armour Carbon Cup, I took a hit that had me crying for Christ to come and get me. So much pain.

First thing I did when I got home was order the Nutty Buddy. Being 5'8 and 210lbs I ordered the XL (Mongo) hopefully that fits, more importantly can we wear compression pants with these?? Now I need to go out and get a strap.

What do you guys think of the nutty buddy, i know there are thread out there but I wanted recent comments.

nutty buddy is the best cup ever ive been hit with 4 direct shots already this year and didnt feel anything but pressure that i knew i got hit but no pain at all. im 6 ft 200 and have mongo and fits great. Id wear it like they say too, thats what i do and it works great.

Kept the Mongo, for now. Will change when I have money I don't want lying around.

I wear compression shorts, Nutty Buddy, then jock on top. Works great.

The reason I think it may be too big is that I can feel it between my legs sometimes and I have to pull it up about once per inning.

I use the Nutty Buddy and have been hit once this year with it. I have to say that I did feel it a little, so I changed the way I wear it. I used to wear the compression tights, the NB, and then a regular jock strap. Now I wear boxer briefs, then the NB, then the jock and then the compression tights (and I pull them up very tight). It seems to hug a little closer this way. The problem is that I have a wide stance, and it's difficult to get it to hug tightly in this stance. I can't see any other cup doing better though.

I like the NB but the red rubber "padding" around the rim of mine has started to fall off and won't stay on, especially when I'm trying to slide it into position. I'm thinking of calling them for a replacement. It should last longer than two seasons for what you pay for it.

I LOVE the nutty buddy. I hated every other cup. I love that this cup is really easy to slip on and off and the protection is definetly superior. My red thing started coming off also but a spot of glue, and 200+ games later and its fine.

No movement. I have taken two shots already this year. Both of them I just heard the thump and feld a tap. Great product.

Mine sits in my bag...tried it off and on all last season. All it did was cut into my legs...I am back to my XO cup with McDavid compression shorts...no issues.

Ok so I called Nutty Buddy and spoke to Curtis, my main concern was buying the mongo considering my height. He recommended the Hog, even though I am pass the weight, Anyways hopefully I get mine before my next game. Then I can return the Under Armour one (which was recalled a year and half ago). $20 from UA atleast gets me a shirt.

wore it for the first time last night, does it take a while to get use to?? For some reason felt at time it was jabbing and was about to fall out.

I did have the right way up, however, maybe it wasnt low enough, I will try again and update. Just felt different, which I expected.

Last Sunday I took a bounced Fast Ball in Adult Major Wood Bat into the good old Nutty Buddy.

I once again caught it after the impact with my hands and tossed it back to the catcher.

Everyone was concerned from the THUD and said take your time Blue.

I Love mine and won't ever give it up.
