  1. I am sure someone will get their hands on them and make a side by side comparison with Hongis and UA poly wools. They look rather dark on the pictures.
  2. SportsDepot.com had the MVP 4000sl at one time for 209.99, I bought it earlier this year. You can get the 2500 matte finish via sports depot.
  3. yeah sign me up for those going with All Star HSM. Just got it this year and its amazing.
  4. Thanks guys. It fit coming out the box, just required a bit tightening. This thing is awesome.
  5. Just recieved the All Star MVP 4000Sl an upgrade from my previous pro-nine. Never thought of this for some odd apparent reason, is the HSM to be worn tight or lose? BTW this All Star rig is a pretty sweet HSM.
  6. WV Platinum Chest Protector $129.00 Sports Direct w/ Free Shipping. Its where I purchased mine.
  7. Have used Honigs, Purchase Officials, Lesters Upstate, Joe's Bat ($134.99 for Diamond Bag/Free Delivery and delivered in three days), Direct Sports (Platinum Chest Protector for $129.99 free delivery). All would get my money again, I use Purchase Officials a lot more due to the quality in Smitty Shirts and the Cost. Will use Gerry Davis for there charcoal pants due to most of the guys in our association use Gerry Davis, I like the smitty charcoal pants.
  8. I am going with Gerry Davis for next season hopefully there is a sale in the spring. With that being said I been using the smitty charcoal and there great. Despite the name smitty has some quality products.
  9. I recently upgraded to a Platinum. The MLU is my backup and gets used for everything under 14.
  10. I live in Houston, Texas. How does one start to work his way up into the college ranks whether it be division 1,2,3 or JUCO. Does anyone know a contact person or perhaps what camps to attend that are nearby.
  11. In 5 years - 2 Coach Ejections & 1 Player Ejection for Malicious Contact.
  12. So I loaded up my bag with my 21-month old tonight, all I can say is wow. So much space. One of my best purchase. I spent quite a bit of money this year with new chest protector, new leg guards, new bag, new pants. Bottom Compartment: Wilson Platinum Chest Protector Wilson Hard Shell Chest Protector (For younger kids) Honigs K20 Shin Guards Pro Nine HSM (Hopefully wife gets me the All Star MVP 4000Sl for father's day, only been floating the idea for a month now) New Balance Plate Shoes Top Compartment: 6 shirts 6 undershirts Pair of plate and a pair of base pants Hats Pencils, Pens, Indicators, Brushes Base shoes in the shoe compartment I think my 21-month old wanted to jump into the bag.
  13. 1. It's there for sundries, like car keys, wallet, or something you need to get your hands on quickly without getting back into the bag. I always put brushes and indicators in it. 2. It's the top zipper on the bag in the back. you can also use it as a wet clothes section. Thank You. The bag looks real slick. Have not had the chance to take all my equipment out the trunk to fill up the new bag. I am sure my 21-month old will give me a hand tonight.
  14. Ok so I got my bag from Joes Bats, good service and received in three days. Have not had the chance to transfer all my equipment into the bag but just a couple of observation/question. I hope I make sense. 1. What is up with the pocket on the left side (outside the bag), I mean its a zippered pocket, but what do you put in there cause its small? 2. Was there suppose to be a shoe bag included? Or is that just the top zipper where can slide your shoes in.
  15. I did have the right way up, however, maybe it wasnt low enough, I will try again and update. Just felt different, which I expected.
