umpirate

I have not umpired at all before and am trying to get into the high school level. However I am planning on starting at the bottom and work my way up. Does anyone have suggestions on the beat way to get started? I have thought about going to the PBUC School but have decided lately not to, my wife and I are proud parents of newborn twins so that threw a wrench into my plans for umpire school.

I am new to umpiring and was wondering kf anyone coud put together a list of books that are must haves and needs for a new blue. Rule books, manuals, case books, and experience books. It doesnt matter. Thank you all for your time.

I was looking for stuff for every level of ball in general. I was also looking for a cost of under 450 or 500 for everything from hat down to the shoes.

I was wondering if anyone has a list of equipment and clothing a new guy would need. I am trying to figure out what all to buy as well as recommended brands or models. I appreciate any help you can give.

I am a umpire wanna be. I would like some help on what to do to become an umpire? I just want to do it as a hobby and naybe make some extra money. I live in the Gadsden area if anyone can put me in touch with someone who can help me out. I have always loced the game and have not been involved for a few years now and would love to take this route to get back involved.
