Anytime a pitch hits a batter it is a dead ball. If it is determined to be a HBP s/he is awarded first base and all runners are returned to their time of pitch base(s).

No. Dead ball. Runners return. Batter to 1B unless pitch was in strike zone or batter was offering when hit. It can be intentional by pitcher to negate a score.

I'd like you to articulate how you believe said batter would score in said scenario, even if it wasn't a dead ball.

The batter can be put out if said pitch was strike three.
