1 Mussgrass Posted June 18 Report Posted June 18 Anytime a pitch hits a batter it is a dead ball. If it is determined to be a HBP s/he is awarded first base and all runners are returned to their time of pitch base(s). 1 Quote

Batter to 1B unless pitch was in strike zone or batter was offering when hit. It can be intentional by pitcher to negate a score. 1 Quote
1 noumpere Posted June 18 Report Posted June 18 The "squeeze attempt" has nothing to do with it; it's the same as any other HBP. Just apply those rules. 1 Quote

I'd like you to articulate how you believe said batter would score in said scenario, even if it wasn't a dead ball. The batter can be put out if said pitch was strike three. Quote
