BLWizzRanger Posted March 31 Report Posted March 31 Since all sports have embraced gambling now, when will bookies start having over/unders on the number of challenges, correct/wrong challenges, PU odds on incorrect calls with a challenge, etc, etc, etc? Do you think the MLB umpires have each thrown in $20 to see who has the best challenge percentage at the end of the year? 1 Quote

I'm surprised there's not already people betting on who has best/worst challenge score for game/month/year/etc. You can bet on about anything anymore. Gambling is taking over the sport that was so hard on players who dared to gamble... even on themselvse to win! It sure feels like they're in bed together now. And definitely! You know those guys with their competitive spirit have a pool amongst themselves to see who is best or worst for the year. Quote

wolfe_man Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 Or just don’t gamble as a player… is the salary not enough? I do realize that some gamble for the thrill, not the money. Quote

The Man in Blue Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Guys, guys, guys . . . This isn't betting. Betting has odds and chances and pools and wagers and bookies who facilitate things. This is just a tech company presenting people with an opportunity to purchase a share of a fund of money which could provide a financial incentive should a probable outcome occur, or become valueless if the probable outcome doesn't occur (in which case the tech company keeps the money). See, totally NOT gambling! It's all fine. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to call a service for a privately hired car owned and driven by somebody else (totally not a taxi!) to take me to my short-term temporary residence that I do not own and arranged to pay for on a daily basis (totally not a hotel room). 1 Quote
