We are in Northwest Ohio. the days it doesn;t rain we have had too much rain and the fields are still unplayable. I have had more rainouts than games this year.

I've been rained out since latest Tuesday, and it's not looking good for the rest of the week.

I haven't had any scheduled, but the weather in St. Louis had most likely prevented games for Monday and probably Tuesday. It's supposed to finally clear out Wednesday, so my Thursday night game should be fine. I'll rest on Friday and have a game Saturday morning.

Anyone for beers on Sunday?

Sunday 4/17 thru Monday 4/25 - all 10 games cancelled because of weather. Not one game in during that time. Hopefully, today's 4:00 pm game (first since 4/16) will be played...

Montana has been getting a lot of snow as of late, I'm scheduled to work Thursday but it doesn't look good....

I have worked 9 games so far this season.

I've had 2 cancellations.

I just received my 7th rain out...

Oh well. You spend your money you take your chances.

I have had a few rainouts but it looks good for today and tomorrow, the problem is I have hurt my back and have to turn in today, maybe tomorrow.

Have had a few rainouts here in NC but if we get in the game today it will be my 51st this season. Funny thing is I wished for rain yesterday because I was not feeling well, game was played as scheduled and was probably the best game I have had the honor to umpire this year. Go figure.

8 rainouts now...I think the drought in St. Louis is officially over.

I got rained-out yesterday, too. Got a game tonight at SLUH, so as long as the 50% chance stays in my favor, the game should be on.

Got a game in last night and now here we go again. Tonight was washed out so bad that tomorrow's games are already ppd. So I have had one game played in the last 12 days.

The rain gods won. The game was moved to the away team's site, and moved two hours earlier; this field was an extra 15 minutes from home, too. After scrambling to get ready and get out there, it was rained out about 5 minutes before I arrived. At least I'm getting paid for making the trip.

I'm not sure I'll work again this year here in Central Ohio, at least not for the school season. Rain today, rain tomorrow, rain Tuesday, rain Wednesday, and maybe rain Thursday.

WTflyingF??? Stop, already.

I lost 20 games in April due to rain. The last game I called was on April 21st. Since then we have had well over a foot of rain with more in the forecast. Flooding is a major issue right now so even when we can finally have ballgames, there is no telling how long of a drive I will have to make to get there. One town that is normally a 20 minute drive is now an hour and a half (one way) due to flooding. Other roads can open and close back depending on how many days we get between rains. The major problem for me is that this is what I have to do for a job. I just finished paying off bills from JEAPU and attending a tryout camp for an independent minor league, which has left me short on funds for other bills. Rain rain go A-freakin'-WAY!
