has the feed from CCS stopped? would be quite a long drought (no play on words intended) with no ejections.

They've been posting new content. I can't speak to whether the feed is down or not.

Here's a play from yesterday that led to and EJ in Milwaukee. BTW, I don't love the call here. I think it's too tight, but as always, we have the benefit of replay...not making the call in real time.

@Lindsay hasn't been posting every new video here, but I'm finding that Youtube is not "pushing" them to me as well.  Usually, at the end of one, the most recent ones will populate for me in the "push."  Now they are back to sending me random garbage that the algorithm wants to force feed me or they are giving me old ones.  The new ones are there, but some thing is up with "the feed" (whatever that means).  I can go catch them on CCS's site (which I prefer to do), but I assume they get more $$ if I watch it on Youtube so I try to catch them there.  (Or I could just be a completely ignorant old man who really doesn't care to actively learn how those things work.  I know the video is hosted on Youtube, but I assumed there is some difference based on how you get there.)

EDITED off my discussion of the play and posted it here:

I know a little bit about this...and it's my understanding that the monetization is more favorable on YouTube versus embeds on third party sites such as this. YMMV

I disagree with @Lindsay as to when the tag attempt began.  The fielder was still going the other direction, into fielding the ball, at the point she says the tag attempt begins.  I have a runner who is avoiding a fielder in the act of fielding the ball.

I do not have a tag attempt until the fielder is headed towards the runner, at which point the runner is already diving into third base . . . and needless to say I do not have a runner out of his basepath.

Yeah, I don't love that one either.

me thinks that regardless of whether protocol in any league is that on this specific play the 2 umpires that are on the line would discuss this, or the whole crew should discuss this, and make sure you look like you are getting input from each of the 4 umpires (for the look (perception is reality), and to fool the cameras and everyone else since you are 300 feet away, or maybe you are the rules expert bar none on the crew) one would tell Pat that you are going to confer with, HPU or the whole crew, but no matter what we decide, i was the calling umpire (and maybe CC also) and any words spoken will be between you and me. if you try and circumvent me and go to any other umpire, you will be ejecting your own self, right then and there on the spot by me.

and if that ending sounds a little TMI or threating or over the top, you could just say, Pat, we are going to get together and i will come back to you and the conversation will just be between the 2 of us. but when/if they try to circumvent and go to another partner, then eject.

She got her issues resolved with MLB a few days after they started.   I have nearly daily having the channel in my youtube being marked with new content so I think it's working fine.   E100 has a red line under it, so I clearly watched it.   I didn't watch E101 but that may have just been one I missed.

Yes, But they're not popping up here on this site. The CCS section is still stuck on ejection 92. Yet there are many more videos that CCS has posted.

Not sure what is going on.

I like this, especially at the levels that I work. I wonder...at that level if they'd consider that a condescending approach?

ah, don't you just miss old westy. do you really think he was trying to inject himself in every argument. personally (without being a mind reader) i don't think so. he was there to give back to all the former crew chiefs who would not let the managers pick on him during his younger years, so he would not let managers pick on his crew. could that have meant that he was despised for that trait. sure. could that get him in trouble with the league, sure. but i do not think he worried one bid about being taken out of an assignment at the end of the year versus protecting one of the kids or even a manager going on and on and on with a more seasoned umpire. the more you talked about him, the more likely they were to forget about the original umpire involved or maybe like them more than Joe. but, i dont think he worried about that. fall on the sword as others had done for him.

IN that regard, I am assuming it is just the limited time we all have in a day.  They don't automatically pop up here, she has to come post them.  There have been a few recent times we have posted them here before @Lindsay did.  I don't want to step on any toes by grabbing them, but if you need help @Lindsay, I'd be happy to post them here for you.

Okay, that makes sense. I thought maybe is was an RSS feed or something automatic like that.

some of what is going on video. may be affecting the feed. our legal eagles and HR pros on this site probably understand this more than i do, since they are involved with things like this every day of their lives
