The "quantity left" warning is gone, but the listing is still active as of 9pm 5/28. My guess is Force3 is blowing out V3 units thru Amazon to prepare for the introduction of V4 designs. Same thoughts about the shins.

They ran a good deal on their mask a few weeks back, too.  Was tempted, but am very happy with my ASM.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K . . . uh . .. er . . . Force 3.

Was disappointed the delivery date on my shins shifted from Thursday to Saturday.  Was hoping to have them for a weekend tournament.

They've been running significant promotions since October 2023. I have a feeling that they're making a shift in their channel distribution from retail partners to direct-to-consumer and third-party channels such as Amazon in this case. Just my conspiracy theory.

Well, it certainly arrived without the usual F3 fanfare and via the Amazon way . . .  smashed up/smashed open box and in a plastic bag.  

I don't mind paying extra for good service . . . but I also don't mind skimping a little for a deal.

Very impressive out of the box.  Can't wait to use it this weekend.  If it handles heat OK, I may be benching my Cobalt.

I pulled the trigger on this and got mine Sunday as I was heading out the door for a men’s league game. 
 

Adjusted it in the parking lot and slapped it on that night and it was AWESOME!  
 

If they are going to a V4 I’ll be interested to see what they do with it. If they are going DTC like many companies now a days and that price can stay where it’s at, it’s almost impossible to beat for that money.

Used mine for 5 plate games over Saturday and Sunday.  Neither day was terribly hot, Saturday was raining and misting on and off.

Really liked the fit and feel.  It does have a lower profile, but the "squared" look of the padding can look a little awkward when you are used to more curved blast plates.  I don't feel as if it is 100% dialed in yet, but I did not have to adjust or fuss once all weekend.  Did not take a shot, so I can't comment on that yet.

Minor downfall: I mentioned it was raining and misting Saturday.  The cloth covering obviously holds on to that.

Bigger downfall: My CP evolution has been Davishield --> Schutt --> Cobalt --> this.  I won't say it held the heat in like the Davishield, but I felt as if I was back to that style.  It does not breathe or have any ventilation that I experienced; I was pretty wet underneath at the end of the day.  Force 3 says it has "Cool Flow comfort fabric around neck area, and special airflow fabric backing regulate temperature and KEEP YOU COOL on hot days."

I'll have to wait for a truly hot day to comment, but I'm not optimistic on this front.
