Favorite Photo

Probably won't get a lot of feedback on this, but this is my new favorite baseball photo. My wife took it of me and my son during yesterday's game (no, I didn't ring him up; he doubled during this at-bat). Also, don't ask me what my partner was doing; I have no idea.

My only regret, no photo for me.  For you, too bad she didn't get one from the other side too with your faces!

I've never understood sports photographers who shoot from the back . . . 

 

Is it just me, or does it look like his partner is wearing jeans and hightops?

 

I've also been there . . . rung my daughter up more than once.  It was nice to have her working on my side of the field for a few years!

I assure both you and @The Man in Blue he is not wearing high tops--we dressed while pre-gaming. His pants are noticeably faded, though--so that probably makes it look like jeans.

It was actually more the way they fit him and the bunching that made me think it.  Upon zooming, then the color became suspect and his shoes looked like green high tops.  Hey, I’m an umpire.  I can’t see $#!+.
