Wow - look what I found sitting in a Play It Again Sports (via their website)... buried deep in their archives (literally 13 pages from the beginning, so they'd been there awhile).    

Now, unless my aging eyes have deceived me - that is NOT a used Wilson umpire mask (it's a Nike titanium) and that is NOT just an old, used Wilson umpire chest protector (but a Wilson WV Gold Team Wendy).

This is one of those days that I'm thankful for boredom and having some time to dig for treasures!  I know others have found Nike Ti's at their PIAS, but it's never happened for me until today!

1) is the price tag for the Nike $130? Still cheap compared to normal secondary market price.

2) $60 for the Wilson/TW is getting away with murder for whoever get it! Also love that the stickers are all gone so no worries about truly making it your own.

They removed the side pads from the Team Wendy. They get in the way but a better solution was to take the plastic off and half the the pad. You might notice that the neckline is a little high. I had a steamstress trim mine. Still a good deal.

Not all PIAS participate, but most do if you just go to their website and search for "umpire" or "catcher mask" etc.  These were in a store in GA.

Inspired to look. They have some Reebok plate shoes that look like they just need a little love out of one of the Georgia locations. Decent price too.
