No video available now but should be tomorrow. My perception might be in error but in B7 BOS runner was legal until last two steps and was hit by throw outside lane. No call. No complaints but Boone was already ejected. Not a quality throw maybe but it did hit the runner. My take, flip a coin on RLI, get rid of the rule and have the fielder find a throwing lane. Any deviation by the runner from his basepath is INT.

I thought he was OK. I thought second to last step still was on some chalk, then last step in fair territory.

Pro interp is: if BR is legally in the running lane until the last two steps, then he can be in fair for those steps in order to reach the base.

Sounds like the play was legal under that interp.

Looks like he was legal all the way. Even last two steps were touching chalk.
