Different Wilson Shinguard padding

I noticed the shinguard padding on the website are different. Are these outdated?

@JimKirk Needing some info regarding this shinguard. Is there a reason the padding is different?

only thing i can tell you is that is the same pic from "years" ago before they changed to the current padding.

As long as F3 are still on the market any other shin guard should be disregarded.

I can’t date this based on the padding, but the picture of these on ump attire shows a MLB logo on one of the ankles. If there’s anything I do know though, it’s that Wilson would not make a new model without putting that logo somewhere, which tells me this is an outdated picture/model.

last year I upgraded all my gear. I got the platinums and liked them a lot better than the old diamonds I’d been using, but by the end of the season they became my backups and Force3 became the daily drivers. I wish that I had gone with Force3 from the beginning.

Yes that is the old pic of the prior padding.  A number of years ago Wilson “upgraded” the padding on the gray double knee shins to that of the black triple knee shins.

Yes, their pic is outdated.

The only exception is Ray Brownlie's "Greatest Shin Guards NEVER Made."
