To be completely honest... I needed the slow mo alternate view to even see it hit off the mask. Seriously, the way Timmons reacted, I thought it went off #IAmGary's glove. Not Timmons' mask.

At first, I agreed with Arik, I slowed it way down and I don't think that ball got him.  He expects it and starts ducking while Sanchez glove is going up - and it reflects off his glove palm behind Lindor.

But then, I watched the 2nd angle (below).  The blur is the ball and you can see Sanchez glove isn't there yet.

I am not sure who supplied the video in the link, but the YES network had another view from the first base dugout where you did see the pitch clearly compress the mask.

Thats the point when i saw it too. From the way he reacted, you wouldn't have known better.
