I guess it could just be me, but I'm having trouble searching topics.  Lets say I search the word "Wilson".  I will get some pictures in the results, but no topics.  When I search the same term and do a topics search, I get "There are no topics that match..."  

Admins???

Is there something wrong with the search function?

I'm working on this issue, the search functionality which was already not very good seemed to get worse with the update.

However one thing you can try to improve your results is check your filters on the left hand side of the search results. You may want to set it to search topics only.

As you suggested UIC, I marked the filters to topics only and the search results still turned up pics only as VAUmp described. Is  there anyway to return  the forum to the old format?

You might have better luck using google to specify the forum in the search.

You can use Google's advanced search page to build a search string that will search only Umpire-Empire.com and will also allow you to specify AND, OR, NOT terms.

That's what I'm working on a custom site search.  Easy enough for searching the entire site, but I'm also trying to create a searches for only the current forum or topic.
