Dead ball?? after R1 hit with ball 7.08f

Question regarding rule 7.08 F  .  Bases loaded , defense playing up. R1 is hit  with line drive but because he is behind F3 I apply rule 7.08f. 

My question is,did I make a mistake by calling the play dead?

Is the ball dead because it hit the runner or is it live? I can't find it

If the ball went through or immediately by a fielder, then the ball stays live.  IF it went between two fielders, (such that neither could reasonable be expected to field it), then the ball is dead and the runner is out.

@noumpere just gave you the qualifier for either leaving the ball LIVE or calling TIME and making the ball dead on Interference, where do you get that the ball is Dead and there is an advancement of the base runners automatically?

My mistake, I misinterpreted the rule.  The ball is live in this situation because it hit the batter clearly after it passed F3.  Thanks all, a bit confused but I got it.

While it would be unlikely on a line drive, you also have to judge that F4 had no play on the ball.  Maybe it could happen a soft liner in a "corners in" situation.

​You might still be misinterpreting. With the infield in, R1 will be wide of F3, not directly behind him. When that liner hits him, it's INT and he's out.

The FED rule is different.
