I've been using the +POS scrapper plate brush for years, and still haven't found anything I've liked better. But I ran across this on eBay, and wondered if this All Star version was available. A quick Googling of the product number, PB-2, came up empty.

Just by the picture, it looks like a better built version of the +POS brush. I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives.

Brad, chime in if you know anything about this.

Kyle you might want to try the Mizuno brush. It's what I use and it's pretty awesome. Best made platebrush I've ever used with a fantastic scraper on it. You can get them on ebay for about $15. I've used mine for a year now and it still looks the same as it did the first day I put it in my bag.

It looks gigantic, if it's the one I'm thinking about.

Did you get it with the matching holster?

No Kyle the one I'm talking about is this one. chttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Mizuno-JAPAN-Umpire-Gear-Brush-Baseball-Softball-2ZU212-/321477363884?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ad98b48ac It's pretty small compared to other plate brushes on the market.

It's the PB-2 that I can't find.

Here's my guess: The +POS folks had a Patent on theirs, and this one was a bit too close in design. Yeah, mine says "PAT PENDING" on it, but that's pretty worthless.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not scraping the plate.

And I get, and respect that.

Honestly, it comes up just a couple of times a season for me. Sloppy games, where mud gets kicked across the dish. It's quick and handy to use. And, it cleans quickly, with a swipe on the grass.

But it's really thin in the ball bag, and doesn't flop around. If you work with breakaway bases, it's handy in field, too.

Again, I get that some don't wish to do these things, but at the kids level, sometimes you may want to, just to keep things moving.

You'll get that in colder climates also .........    East coast guys have HS games starting in 3+ weeks .....and ...........when it's wet and muddy ........sometimes a brush w/ a scraper like this could help a lot!

So I got on the horn with All Star, and they have no record of the PB-2 plate brush. So now I own the Riddell Power of plate brushes. Let the bidding begin.

They also said they had 3 Delta Flex harnesses in stock, for distributors only. The next shippment is Mid-May.
