That's cheap. I wouldn't sell mine for that price, no way no how.

I'll give you $50 for yours.

No thank you, I don't need to sell my Nike to go to a camp to be turned down.  :fuel::wave:

I don't understand the appeal of this mask. Is it that much better than the other masks around? I'll give you $75.00 for it, but you can keep the pads.

It is simply the idea of getting your hands on something that isn't readily available.  Or to try to look cool.  It's just like the Power.  Chances are there are better cp's on the market now than what was developed 15-20 years ago.  However, it's hard to find and is therefore a hot commodity.

I joked with a D1 catcher last year about his Nike mask and how much he'd take for it.  He said that he didn't know why umpires wanted one so bad.  He didn't think they were any better than any other mask he'd used.  I'd say he's probably right.

That's not to say I'd turn down a free one if it was given to me.  But I'll be damned if I'm going to drop a house or car payment on one.

That's my thinking too. I can't justify plopping down a car payment for a mask. I use my gear, I don't collect them for the 'wow' factor.

If I didn't read these forums, I would have never even known that a Nike Ti exists, much less that it's something that's not sold by retailers.  I don't begrudge those who choose to spend their money on them, nor those who are able to turn a tidy profit by selling them.  I just choose to spend my money elsewhere.
