The pitching stance is interesting -- they seem to be admitting that the change they made a few years ago was a mistake.

 

I wonder how long until someone tries to confuse (or claim to be confused) about the wind-up / set position when a runner is picked off / balk is called.

Why would it matter? They can pick from either position. Wasn't Guthrie winding up from what looked like the stretch last nite. You could tell the difference between each position though.

Maybe FED will follow suit. Although they can make a case for not doing so.

wow.. not one person talked about the change from a catch to a no catch and moving the runners back... wait till this cost a team a run...

 

bases loaded 1 out.. what looks like a catch and runners tagging... umpire talk switch it to a  no catch, but only 1 run would score....

 

or the other way where we have to put the runners back... it will cost a team a game...

I didn't mention is because it had already been announced and there had been some discussion on it (maybe not here; I don't recall).  The pitching stance change is new (at least to me).

All hell will break loose. Rule will get changed to a "place the runners wherever" rule.
