Question
Guest Keith a
Runner on first and third with 1 out. Pop out to LF for second out. Guy at third tags and scores. Guy at first never tagged and was thrown out on the force back. Does the run count since it crossed before the throw to first? If it's considered a force out since he has to go back to first I would think the run shouldn't count.

This is a time play not a force play. See definitions of a force play under rule 2.00. Since the BR is put out no one is "forcing" the R1 to advance. Run scores
