This is a time play not a force play. See definitions of a force play under rule 2.00. Since the BR is put out no one is "forcing" the R1 to advance. Run scores

EJs don't take effect till the play is completed. But preventive umpiring would be waiting for the play to end before ejecting anyone.

hinders or impedes any following play being made on a runner. Such runner shall
be declared out for the interference of his teammate
