Modified rule myth...

Inside pitch and the batter is hit in the hands.  Batter started to swing but checks.  (I go to BU and he says no he didn't)

 

Coach comes out to say he started his swing so it's a foul ball.  

 

I tell him pope...  He checked.  That's why I asked the BU.

 

Coach then proceeds to give me the "Zen" interpretation of "hands are part of the bat" myth.

 

"The hands and the bat are considered one"
