New Base Shoes

Ordered a pair of New balance MU1000 shoes to replace new balance 995 which I hate, all black. Wearing these around the house so far they feel very good. Got a game tonight but have the dish. Got doubleheader tomorrow night so they will see the field. Need to replace the white shoe laces. I will give an update once they seen some field action

I like those too but the only this is when they get dirty they will be a beast to clean..I got the black and white plate zigs those things are hell...lol

There is no mesh on these shoes, I keep a brush and a bottle of spray cleaner and clean my shoes after the games or next morning, so I don't think they will be too hard to clean

What's wrong with the 995's, other than being kind of wide?

I have those shoes and they are not a problem to keep clean. Not understanding that comment.

Where can you get these from? I prefer an all black, but I need to replace my old Magistrates next season.

Considering either the 995s or Zigs from Honigs. Dont think they sell the 1000s.

I never liked the 995s on my feet either.   They just didn't have much cushion - felt like I was running in cheap chinese shoes. 

 

I am enjoying the MU950s I got last month, though.    Much nicer.

Ump-attire is on back order for the mu1000's until the fall. I got these off new balance web site, you can also try eastbay

I have the 1000's. Very comfortable and have great traction on all surfaces. I used for baseball and football last year with no issue even during rain.

Really like these shoes, and they're easy to clean.
