I've seen douglas CP's with the extension and added wings? is this something customized?

If by "extension" you mean the added lower plate on some models, this is a function of Douglas offering a few different sizes.  The larger sizes have a longer pad and this requires another protective plate to be velcro'd on.

If by wings you mean a 2nd shoulder flap, that is a "factory option" to cover a gap between the shoulder cap and the body of the protector up near the collarbone area.

Found this on online...mentions it was customized by John at douglas for the "wings" @mike prince

Douglas will do almost anything you want to a CP if they have the parts and you are willing to pay for it.  Those "wings" are a good example.

That's the 15" model, the front lower plate is definitely stock.

The wings in the second picture are definitely a customization

What will be a good price for it? Considering it's condition

What is he asking?

Start with $80

It does look a bit rough. The wings are worthless. IMHO

This is America, so a good price would be significantly more than it's really worth: $130-$150.

Asking $100....trying to work him down to $50....I don't really need it just wanting to add it to my collection

I wish the $250-Buy-It-Now guy with a nine transaction history a ton of luck.

Yea, I made him a respectable offer, $145,  and he wouldn't even acknowledge my best offer reply.

I never understand eBay.  People pay more for used stuff than new all the time.  Any people bid up the price with days left on the auction - for what reason?  There's a sucker born every minute...

$145 is more than fair.  You could get it for $160 from Douglas, with about $20 shipping which would save you about $30.  No reason to deal with an eBay seller with only 9 transactions if you can't save at least 10-15%.

Like he said. An offer of $145 is more than respectable. Good grief, that's $25 more than a brand new black one was, and a few dollars more than some of them have sold for on ebay recently.

The guy's high. And he's high.

I think the gray one for $175.00 opening bid is overpriced.  :fuel:

It may be but I really don't care if it doesn't sell. I really like it I won't mind keeping it. Just trying to get some money to try other things.

The second link is the best one!!!

The second link ended up with 0 bids

Good! I want to keep it anyways.

The other one sold for $163 without the shoulder pads and DF harness.

Use that fact as a selling point, saying for $12 more you have a Delta-Flex and the extra shoulder protection in the description the next time that you list it.
