An 8 YO boy died yesterday as a result of being hit in the neck by a thrown ball.

A very tragic accident, my thoughts and condolences to his family.

That is truly awful.  My prayers are with his family.

Definitely send all sympathy to the family, the team, . . . and please think about how the little boy that threw the ball will feel the rest of his life.

 

I cannot even begin to imagine how he feels.

Sad story  may he r.i.p and i hope they family does not blame themselfs sounds like a freak accident. But also pay attention. Are Uic i think he was doing u10 invitational and he call's balls in... well one came in and hit him in the face black and blue not sure how long. It took to... go away.

 

Scary moment i had.

 

I was doing fall ball u10(baseball) in my city, and there was a foul ball... we couldn't find the ball it was between my neck/chin. I had the coach look at my neck to make sure i was ok. and continue the game. That was scary.
