Bought all black zig base shoes about 6 weeks ago.  Worn for about fifteen games and the seem on the outside of the left shoe is letting go.  Have a call in to Honig's and getting ready to email Reebok.  Anyone else having this problem?

I'll preface this post with the fact that i don't have the all black ones, but the black and white (although you'd think that wouldn't matter in a workmanship issue):

I wore them for football last year (about 15 games between HS and LL) and this year, have worn them for every BU assignment I've had (about 45 games i guess) and haven't had any problems whatsoever.  I really like them.

Sorry to hear you're having problems.  Are they tight on you?  Do you need a wider shoe maybe?  Just a thought.

I don't have that problem, but man are they tight. I have worn nothing but reeboks for years and these are the first to fit like this.

I have someone that I work games with that said his all black ones had stitching issues around the toes. I haven't seen then to know what he was talking about but he was very unsatisfied with the quality.

My black/white pair developed a "wrinkle" in the material on the front of the shoe. It's almost like the protective toes isn't properly glued to the outside leather.

My shoes fit great and I love them...just disappointed that they are literally coming apart at the seams!  I have noticed the wrinkle in the toe as well.

I have the all black base shoes, and have not had a problem with mine.  One of the people I work with also has the same shoes and is having a small problem with the Reebok logo flaking off.  It is a small cosmetic problem and does not effect the shoe in any way.

I have the black & white ones, wore them for about 10 games and put them away. Uncomfortable because they are too tight.

I wore the previous model for a few games and the 4E width was no where near a 4e width. Sold them for half price. New Balance has always been the proper width.

I had one pair of the zig energy patent leather zigs a couple of years ago that had the outside seam on the toe let go. UA replaced them for me.

I have heard that the newer zigs run tight. I loved the old veto trainer zigs. The were wider.

My football crew went with the black/white NB 950s due to the width limitations on the reebok.

As long I can still find the old Reeboks 4E I will buy them. Have 3 pair right now. They are so comfortable that every morning I go jog 5 miles in them.

I don't have plate shoes, but I have a pair of trainers and the stitching is coming off. I wasn't sure if I was the only one who was having that problem. I was thinking of getting a pair of plate shoes next year. I don't think it will be Zigs. They are comfortable, but are falling apart.

I have a pair of the black and white base shoes. Yes, they are tight. I keep a set of cedar shoe trees in them. It has helped. However, the white on the side logo is starting to flake on one side. I've worn them 10-15 times max. Not real happy about that.
