Changed call at 2nd

Any idea on what went on here?

 

My only explanation is that Johnson thought that the ball wasn't hit and it was actually thrown down by F2 but then he realized he screwed up and changed his call.

 

As always, ignore the announcers.

Seems he was right the first time. He was safe!  Announcers were correct.

Announcers changed their call, too.  Radio guys must have had a better angle.

I think he got caught anticipating what would happen instead of letting the ball turn him. I'll bet he saw the runner break and immediately turned his back to the plate and that's what got him in trouble.

I agree with this. 

Was anticipating a play on the steal and was gearing for that call.
