Posted the last of the Leagues tonight, as I have been updating as each League opened earlier in the week on post #1. Gulf Coast Listed alphabetically from their website. They open tomorrow, so will post by crew later tomorrow night.

 

All Leagues are by crews from opening night. Plate umpire listed first.

 

CPL already with 1 promotion.

 

BU in Arizona League not listed yet for 1 game and Arizona League has odd number of teams so 1 other umpire may be in League rotating.

If he graduated Evans in 2012 where did he work that summer. Not showing in GCL last year or CPL?

You heard of any more movement going on... I'm on one of those lists you just gave and am just wondering out of curiosity if you know of any movement that's going on in the next couple of weeks...

 

No, I am not privy to that information. Several on here are, but they should not comment until it is pretty much a known thing by everybody.

I strictly pull my information periodically from the box scores at milb dot com to find out the information I post. The CPL has its games at their website under stats 2013 and then click on each team. Labor intensive, this is, most of the time.

 

There is an old post started by HDS, where I posted and periodically update or add new names mentioned in box scores for the Long A Leagues. Search "MLB's new full time umpires". It is currently near the bottom of page 8 under the professional section. Check post #33

I can only post names that are mentioned in the box score. I do not know whether they have been actually promoted, or whether they have been given a roving spot at the higher level, or if a local fill-in is being used occasionally for whatever reason.  Usually there are several moves at the middle of the year after the umpires have been handed their mid season evaluations. There were CPL umpires being moved up in August last year. Some just before the CPL year ended, and some after the CPL playoffs were over.

 

 

FWIW, and IMHO, I think my next line should be heeded and do not take this personal. Once one enters Pro ball, it is best to stay off the forums. This would also include working in the CPL. It would be very easy to misspeak on a rule or situation, and just 1 mistake is 1 too many. Once made it cannot be retracted. They made Rob Drake shut his website down in its infancy. It is just one of those "no win" situations that is just waiting to happen.

 

One is free to lurk no matter what, but to post should become taboo, as of this return post. All info needed will come from Justin Klemm or whomever is in charge. Good luck in whatever umpiring quest's you are working on.

Kyle isn't this some awesome stuff. Seeing the guys you were just on the field with a couple of months ago out there working. Rich with the first ejection. I thought that was BAD ASS when I read it. LOL I dunno why he had to make the ejection but I can definitely imagine him doing it.

Andy Schultz former AAA MiLB umpire and PBUC staff member is the Manager, Baseball and Business Operations for the League now.

 

Ryan Barneycastle is also showing as having moved to the GCL although working last night in the CPL.
