I wouldn't be surprised on this site if someone actually does start looking for the same pens that MLB umpires use.  After the supply bucket, nothing surprises me.

What does the supply bucket have to do with what pen an MLB guy has in his plate coat pocket?

The inordinate amount of time some on here spend talking about things other than umpiring.

your comment here still has nothing to do with someone LOOKING for a pen some MLB umpire uses though ...... your analogy isn't convincing :angel4:

Worrying about what pen an MLB umpire uses, putting together a "Finnerty Supply Bucket"....both a waste of time if you ask me.

Again, 2 totally different topics, subjects and value-add results

That said, NOW you're making more sense .... your personal opinion has been added and you've clarified 2 different activities that you feel waste your time ....we're getting somewhere LOL ;)

If I don't have white on my Zigs,  shouldn't have white on my pen. I passed. Although googling Uniball was interesting.

It seems to me that if you keep your pen in your shirt pockey your running the risk of it getting hit with a ball and breaking leaking ink all over the place.  Unless of course you can convince either westvest (plastic plates over high density foam) or unequal (kevlar) or team wendy (whatever the eff it is that they use) to come up with a pen protector.  In that case we can all debate the merits of each and make fun of whichever guys use the other because of course my way is the best way.
