He's complaining because F2 absolutely butchered the pitch. In the pre ques-tech / pitch-trax era, that's probably called a ball with no second thoughts. That pitch needs to be stuck at the knee, thumb under the ball (palm down) with glove over the plate. Not pushed down then obviously pulled back up.
