I can see a rash of this play coming soon.

When I was in HS there was this populst trick play wher on the kick off once the ball was caught 3-4 guys would huddle briefly then somebody would run out with the ball.

Then every team did it for ashort time.

This play will only work at the lower ages, look at how the center raises the ball over his shoulder, that ball gets slapped/stripped at the varsity level and up!

Actually this play is Illegal, the snap has to be direct and immediate, this is a slow snap, .. plus there are 5 players in the backfield..LOL

I tend to agree. I think it took the refs by surprise also.

Illegal snap and unsportsmanlike conduct. Take it back 15 yards from the line of scrimmage & re-play the down. The USC is on the head coach. ANother and the coach is gone.

It's USC because the coach was yelling to the QB that they (the officials) forgot to mark penalty. It is illegal to deceive the defense into thinking the snap is not imminent. That's Fed rules which would apply to this, a middle school game.

I've seen the same interpretation for NCAA....and it was Texas.
