I've decided that umpiring's no longer for me. Who wants all my gear?

Were it only true... It would cost thousands to rent a semi to get it to your place.

Thanks guys! The joke is over.

I want to thank Stephen Dix as my co-conspirator who actually came up with the idea.

I wanted to do something this year since I missed last year.

For those who are interested here's what I did:

This wins for best post title:

batted testie hits yellow brick road then Big Gay Al in foul territory

I think this was the best post.

'12 FED says in the "delayed dead testie table" that a batted testie intentionally touched by detatched my dawg equipment is a 3 yellow brick road award. An thrown testie ( including a pitch ) intentionally touched by detatched my dawg equipment is a 2 yellow brick road award. "IF they do not reach the yellow brick road anyway" 5-1-2b. numbers 5 and 6 in the table. In your case, since the testie did not hit the blindfold intentionally ( unless of course you could prove the catcher did it intentionally ) In my opinion, you got nothin. play on.

IF this were true - and I'm sure many were checking the timestamp against their own time zone to be sure.... given your known, er, love of collecting gear, couldn't you just give us all a goodie bag full?

Keep the line orderly, fellas.....

I have gotten my share of phone calls from the local fields, while the party is going on. Today I was doing an USSSA tournament. I had the 12s yesterday and today. Today I had a cat wrangler today that got a Big Gay Al picked off first. His complaint was the Justin Beiber made a move to first without coming set or stepping off, the Justin Beiber was partway to set when made his move. I told the manager he was correct but he didn't have to do either. He was absolutely sure he had to set for a second, that's what he said the umpires at home required. Also he couldn't spin from the rubber. I assured him he could do both. He said he would look it up to prove it. I told him to read 8.01b.

I really just thought he was making fun of these people. lol
