gentlemen , i have been wearing my allstar LG 1000 about 6-7 games now . after adjusting to fit my calf size ect.... im experiencing a problem , the LG 's tend to rotate or spin on my leg a little every time i walk/ trot /run to make a call in the infield . this is becoming annoying . they fit snug to my leg/calf , but im having to during the games pull/adjsut the LG back around so that the plastic is facing /protecting as it should be . i usually wear compression tights (under armour or MC david ) which or smooth/slippery so to speak . any one experiencing this ? any suggestions appreciated . i have not had this issue with any other LG brand when wearing compression type tights .

I would check the alignment and the tension of the harness. I have worn the 2000 for around 20 games without issues once I got them right. Good luck.

well then i will attempt to make a few more adjustments . i have already tightened all the straps significantly , ill mess around with them a little more , and ck that the patella padding is correctly fitted before i decide to sell them .

I will add something completely opposite to this conversation. I kept my shin guards very tight and had the same problem...they would move and I would tighten them some more and they would move and I'd keep tightening them.

Well, this year I loosened them up (not to the point of flopping around), but strangely enough, they don't move anymore. I think I had them too tight in the first place. Something to try if tightening doesn't work for you.

well after some messing around with LG1000's . they still would spin on my legs . so i tried some reverse engineering so to speak . i have only owned one previous LG , pro nine . i was told way back when that the hooks go to the outside with this brand and they are left/right specific in this manner . in fact in general i have been told that hooks always to the outside . i dont believe there is any other brand on the market that is L/R specific anyway . so with the new LG 1000 i have been wearing them hooks to the outside , since there didnt appear to be any specific L/R to the guards . well as a last resort today i reversed , hooks to the inside . and problem seems to be resolved . so to those who have LG1000/2000 are you hooks out or in ? also the black padding (not patella) that is velcroe into the shin part of guard has thicker padding on one half that the other piece . do you have the thicker half inward or outward ?

thanks marc
