Absolutely OBS Great call by Belino!

I've learned something today ....I've learned that "impedence" needs to be considered. I was wavering on this because I wasn't sure, but now that I've seen some responses, both here and on the other site, I see it!

Wow, these two announcers make He-who-shall-not-be-named seem like a baseball genius.

NEVER!!! Brian, please!!

Once Captain Douchebag, ....ALWAYS Captain Douchebag!

Let's make He-who-shall-not-be-named an Admiral, and these two announcers (along with Joe Morgan and Joe Buck) can be Captains.

kcfan,

Bellino is a Triple-A call up.

I believe his first appearance in an MLB game was last year.

He is also an "alum" of my association, and, I believe, the first to make it to the "show". Great guy. Regularly comes to help out with the association's pre-season clinic, along with another alum who is a Triple-A Umpire.

I thought he nailed the call.

Hey now that's great. I thought he might have been a minor league call up. It looks like they traditionally have higher numbers don't they? Hopefully he'll be on a permanent roster soon.

Yeah, it's real simple...just remember this formula to determine impedance and you can get it right every time:

Assume a pure resistor where impedance, "Z," is equal to "R" then apply Ohm's Law, R=V/I, where "V"=voltage and "I"=current. But, in this case we can apply relativity towards baseball, so "V"=BR in act of running and "I"=influence of fielder's obstruction on BR. :HS

So, if you don't have "I," or even "V", "R"=zero...no impedance.

Assume "V" naturally, so if there is any "I" at all, you will have a positive "R" integer and...impedance! :hi5:

Of course, resistance will grow exponentially from the fielder and fielder's manager once you make the call, and as it did in this case, will sometimes cause the circuit to reach critical temperature requiring immediate removal of power, as Bellino so expertly executed.:TD:

Sheesh, I know, I know...couldn't hold back the electronics engineer inside from the geek-speak when I saw/heard the whole impedance thing.

And speaking of...yes, someone should yank the plug on these announcers who are really majors: Major Buttclown and Major Dumbass! :question1:

Mr. Bellino was admitted as an attorney to the State Of Illinois by the Illinois Supreme Court on May 4, 2006 and also received his MBA while in law school.

He worked the NYP League in 2003 & 2004, the FSL in 2005, Eastern League 2006, and then PCL in 2007. Quite a rapid rise.

He worked his first MLB game as a call-up June 28, 2008 in Chicago with the Cubs against the Orioles. He worked 3B with HP Marvin Hudson, 1B Brian Knight, 2B Hunter Wendelstedt.

In 2009 he worked 31 call up games.

That's OK, I thought the same thing, how did on my sound and light board. I imediately thought mics and DMX questions. :)
