I was hoping this was on video.... I heard the call via MLB.com (radio) from Joe Castiglione at WRKO.... and wishing I could see it...

I was watching this last night on MLBTV with the wife. and she's laughing and reading Davidson's lips. She's saying "Oh my... He just told him to F:censored: off.. Oh my..." "You're not allowed to say that to a coach are you?"

I told her I don't, :wow:, but those guys can. But I'm also going to make sure I give back every bit of what a coach is trying to give me.

Now the guys on MLBTV who I must say are pretty good about not ump-bashing were saying Davidson rung up Crawford earlier, and was having a bad strike zone . :hi5:.. They also said Davidson was the instigator. I completely disagree. At about 33 seconds Crawford steps back and starts mouthing off to Davidson. Things are going okay, but Crawford gets angry and starts yelling. And it also looks like Crawford ( a known cry baby :nod:) is the first to get loud. Maddon just has to try and clean up the mess Crawford started.

Yo, the vid is the same as what Thunder posted.

What's good to see in your link is Crawford's post-game interview. I hope to hell MLB fines him for the comments. Poor baby... he's so picked on. :nod:

Davidson and Madden did quite a little dance together each one gently bumping the other as they made their points. Davidson's lucky he was arguing with a modern day manager. It wasn't too long ago thast this same type or argument would have ended with him covered in chew juice.

As I watched this, I was wondering how much spit was exchanged. No way you can be that close yelling like that and not spray a little. :WTF

Davidson's almost billing himself on Maddon's cap! :)

By the way, did you guys notice how BD removed his mask with his.... :FIRE: RIGHT HAND!?! And pulled his cap with it.... LOL

Oh, the humanity! He's going to get dinged on his eval! :)

It made the ejection funnier -- he had to move the mask over to his left hand. :Horse:
