  1. For Immediate Release June 18, 2013 Dates Set for The Umpire School’s 2014 Session; School Granted Eligibility to Accept Foreign Students ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--The Umpire School™ (TUS) announced today that the dates for its next four-week session will be Jan. 5 – Feb. 2, 2014, at the Vero Beach Sports Village in Vero Beach, Fla. TUS also recently secured an M-1 classification from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Department of Homeland Security to allow it to accept students from outside the United States. “We are authorized to issue form I-20 certificates of eligibility to foreign students that register and are accepted to attend The Umpire School,†TUS Executive Director Justin Klemm said. “Students from around the world can now improve their skills under the guidance of former and current professional umpires at our all-inclusive school.†Registration for the 2014 session is now open.
