I'd seen this one - - but it's too large for me and the wrong color.

its the right size for me, but wrong color as well.

I actually bought that coat, when he first advertised it as being black. (Sometimes a flash will turn black to blue, depending on the surroundings). "It looks black to me". We canceled the sale after he admitted it wasn't. Damn.

Pretty much the right size for me as well... but as stated before... its blue.

Here's a tip for all you current, and future plate coat wearers. Find a long sleeved, mock turtleneck, in that new polyester fabric to wear OVER your chest protector. It keeps the cp from catching on the inside pockets, looks very slick, and feels like butter.

I did it last night, and it was fabulous.

that IS a sharp look.

I have had eyes on the ones GD sells as they are custom made. Honigs just sizes them out. Price is pretty close too if I remember correctly.

I'm tempted to jump on it. I'd like to get a few tournaments under me before I do though.

2 things:

1) That picture looks Navy

2) I was told a while back that Fechheimer did not make black plate coats - only Navy.
